This video was made as a joke at my friend’s cabin one summer. The smoking baby toy made us laugh. We affectionately named her “Morose”.
To date this video has received over 30,000 views on YouTube, and I have absolutely no idea why.

My second video project was filming a night of punk rock karaoke debauchery at the Royal Albert Arms in Winnipeg. I had beer thrown at my camera, and spent the night dodging everything you can think of including drunk patrons, toilet paper, and chocolate sauce, all the while filming the show in platform heels. Once again, I was still using Windows Movie Maker back then and had zero skill, but I still managed to throw an hour long event documentary together for my favorite Winnipeg “drunk rock” band Trouser Mouth. My first attempt at editing was when I asked Saskatoon’s Ultimate Power Duo to send me their video tapes from their 2005 summer tour, which included two stops on the Vans Warped Tour.
